About

At Miss Sophie Sing Along, I believe in the power of music, play, and connection in the early years of life. Research in infant and early childhood education consistently shows that music supports children’s development across a wide range of skills – from language and motor coordination to emotional regulation and social connection.

That’s where I come in! I bring carefully crafted, research-based music sessions directly to your centre or community group – making it easy and enjoyable for both children and staff. Whether you're a daycare, playgroup, or a group of parents looking for something special, I’ve got you covered.

With a background in early childhood music education, a formal teaching degree, hands-on classroom experience, and the fresh perspective of being a new mum, I design holistic sessions tailored for infants and pre-primary aged children.

What to Expect from a Session:

Each session follows a research-supported structure that includes:

  • Welcome & greeting songs

  • Fine motor skill development activities

  • Music and movement for gross motor skills

  • Instrument play and exploration

  • Calming wind-down time to finish

Want to Book a Session?

If you’re interested in bringing music to your daycare or parent group, I’d love to hear from you! Simply reach out via email or the contact form on this site.

From there:

  • We’ll arrange a day and time that suits your centre or community

  • I’m happy to offer a phone consultation to discuss details

  • You’ll receive an outline of the session’s structure

  • A Terms & Conditions form will be provided and must be signed before sessions begin

Let’s bring the joy of music to your little ones – one song at a time.
